
Kaitlyn – Registered Dental Hygienist
Kaitlyn grew up in the small town of Monticello, Utah, and has always had a passion for helping others achieve healthy, confident smiles. She earned her Bachelor of Science and has been working in the dental industry since she was 16, educating patients on the importance of preventive care—because she firmly believes that “an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of treatment.
Since joining our team in 2012, Kaitlyn has been a dedicated and welcoming presence in the office. She strives to make every patient feel comfortable and cared for, ensuring their experience is both informative and stress-free. She values the supportive and friendly atmosphere at Common Sense Family Dentistry, where teamwork is at the heart of everything.
At home, Kaitlyn and her husband, Will, keep busy with their three wonderful kids: Addison, Jack, and Ty. As a family, they love camping, hiking, and exploring the outdoors. When she’s not on an adventure with her family, you’ll likely find her reading or running—always making the most of life’s simple joys.

Lexie – Registered Dental Hygienist
Lexie was born in Murray, Utah, but spent much of her childhood in Henderson, Nevada, before moving to St. George during middle school. A natural athlete, she loved playing soccer and basketball at Dixie High School before pursuing her passion for dental care. She went on to Dixie State University, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Dental Hygiene, graduating magna cum laude with honors.
Since joining our team in 2025, Lexie treats patients with a deep commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care and values the relationships she builds with her patients, helping them feel at ease while improving their oral health. She believes that great dental care goes beyond just clean teeth—it’s about trust, comfort, and confidence.
Lexie and her husband, Drew, are proud parents to their daughter, and they love spending time together as a family. Outside of work, she enjoys staying active—golfing, running, hunting, weightlifting, and playing just about any sport. Whether she’s in the office or out on the golf course, Lexie brings dedication, energy, and a passion for helping others.

Mary – Registered Dental Assistant
Mary has been a dental assistant for many years and became a valued member of Common Sense Family Dentistry in March 2015. Her passion for patient care and attention to detail make her an essential part of our team, ensuring each visit is comfortable and stress-free.
Born in South America, Mary lived there until she was seven years old before moving to the United States. Since then, she has lived all over Utah, experiencing the beauty and diversity of the state. For the past several years, she has called Southern Utah home, where she loves the sunshine, warmth, and close-knit community.
Mary is a dedicated mother, and spending quality time with her daughter is one of her greatest joys. Outside of work, she enjoys reading, watching movies, and getting creative with crafts. Whether it’s diving into a good book, enjoying a great film, or working on a new project, she finds joy in the simple things.
With her kind personality and wealth of experience, Mary is a wonderful part of our team. She brings a welcoming energy to the office and takes pride in making every patient feel comfortable and cared for.


Abby – Registered Dental Assistant
With over 25 years of experience in dental assisting, Abby has dedicated her career to making every patient feel comfortable and confident in their smile. Her passion for dental care goes beyond just the technical side—she truly enjoys connecting with patients and being a part of their journey to better oral health.
Outside the office, family and adventure are at the heart of Abby’s world. Living in beautiful St. George, she takes full advantage of the outdoors, whether it’s hiking, camping, or just soaking in the breathtaking scenery with her loved ones.
With a deep commitment to both her profession and her community, Abby brings warmth, expertise, and a welcoming presence to Common Sense Family Dentistry since 2023. Ashtyn – Dental Assistant
Ashtyn joined Common Sense Family Dentistry in 2022, bringing with her a passion for patient care and a laid-back, friendly energy that makes every visit a little more fun. She’s all about creating a comfortable, stress-free experience, whether you’re in for a routine check-up or something more complex.
When she’s not making smiles brighter, Ashtyn is out chasing adventure. She loves boating, camping, playing games, and capturing life’s best moments through her camera lens. Whether she’s out on the lake, deep in the mountains, or dominating game night, she’s all about making memories and having a good time.

Natalie – Dental Assistant
Joining us in 2023, and with 12 years of experience, Natalie is more than just a skilled dental assistant—she’s the heart of a fun, welcoming dental experience! Known for her sharp attention to detail and ability to make patients feel instantly at ease, she brings a perfect blend of professionalism, humor, and charisma to the office. Whether it’s a first visit or a routine check-up, Natalie makes sure every patient feels comfortable, cared for, and maybe even leaves with a smile (before the work is done!).
Beyond the dental chair, Natalie loves soaking up the sunshine, taking long walks, and spending quality time with her family and her beloved ferrets—because who says dental assistants can’t have a wild side?
